•Sexual Assault Response Coordinator  (SARC)

  SARC's Number: 760-380-4474

The SARC is the “center of gravity” for the program, supervises Unit Victim Advocates, and will ensure the system responds appropriately to give victims the best care and support.

Once the SARC has received a call from a victim or a report of sexual assault, the SARC will assign a UVA or Installation Victim Advocate (IVA) to respond to the needs of the victim.  The SARC is located in Bldg. 548 at Army Community Services.

• Unit Victim Advocate (UVA)

A UVA is available to Soldiers at the Company level at Fort Irwin.  Any report of sexual assault can be made to the UVA in your company.  The UVA will coordinate care with the SARC to ensure victim receives the best care available.  UVA is available to provide reporting options,  will escort victims to appointments, provide support through investigation if warranted, and ensure victim receives appropriate care.
